The 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship will tee off on Friday morning and run through Labor Day afternoon on Monday. With the postseason push for the 2012 FedEx Cup in full swing and players looking to climb the playoff standings, you can bet we'll see some great action at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., this weekend.
While Arizona State University alumnus Phil Mickelson has struggled for most of this year, he has shown signs of improvement of late. He will tee off at 12:46 p.m. ET.
As for the other favorites in the field, Tiger Woods and Brandt Snedeker will tee off together at 8:40 a.m. ET. Woods always seems to get off to a good start in these events, although rounds three and four have not been kind to the world's former No. 1 player. Nick Watney, fresh off his win at The Barclays, rounds out their group.
World No. 1 Rory McIlroy, who was sensational in winning the 2012 PGA Championship earlier this month, is scheduled to begin his first round at 1:10 p.m. ET, joined by Zach Johnson and Jason Dufner. British Open champion Ernie Els joins Mickelson and Rickie Fowler at 12:46 p.m. ET.
