The Barclays Leaderboard: Mickelson Struggles On Day Two

Phil Mickelson had a Friday to forget at the 2012 Barclays, posting a 3-over on the day to sit exactly even after two days and tied for 52nd overall.

Tiger Woods overcame a knee and lower back injury late in the round to finish 2-under on the day and 5-under overall to sit three strokes behind the leaders Nick Watney and Sergio Garcia.

Both golfers parlayed a strong opening day with a decent enough Friday to hold off the charge from Vijay Singh and Bob Estes (who went 4-under and 5-under respectively). Watney and Garcia sit atop the leaderboard at 8-under after two days.

Scottsdale resident Robert Garrigus continued his strong play, going 3-under for the day to land tied for 42nd place.

At least Mickelson wasn't as bad as the leader coming in this morning. Padraig Harrington went 4-over to drop all the way from first to a tie for 16th and sits at 3-under overall.
