Arizona Cardinals LB Daryl Washington To Miss Game Due To Grandmother's Death

According to a tweet from Darren Urban, Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington will miss Thursday's game against the Tennessee Titans due to the death of his grandmother. O'Brien Schofield is also doubtful to play due to a knee injury.

Washington, a 25-year-old out of TCU, is in his third season with the Cardinals and has become an integral part of the Cardinals' defense. As a rookie in 2010, he recorded 78 tackles in 16 games played, 11 started. But in his second season, he improved across the board with 107 tackles in 15 games (14 started) and added five sacks and two interceptions to boot.

Schofield, also a 25-year-old third-year linebacker, needs as much time as possible on the field as he fights for playing time among the linebacking core. Schofield played in all 16 games last season with no starts.
