Greg Toler Injury Update: Cardinals CB Possibly Out Against Titans

Greg Toler is finding out the hard way how difficult it can be to overcome knee injuries.

A starting cornerback for the Cardinals in 2009 and 2010, Toler missed the 2011 season after tearing his left ACL last preseason. Toler was looked at as a challenger for William Gay's starting role at the right corner back position, but his balky knees keep on switching from one to the other.

Toler took part in six practices earlier in the summer, but his knees started to overcompensate for each other, shifting the pain from the left, to the right, and back to the left. Now, he's just hoping to play this Thursday against the Tennessee Titans.

"I don't think it was too fast, but at the same time, I jumped right into it from six plays to (a full practice)," Toler said.
