After missing Arizona's first three preseason games while recovering from offseason knee surgery, Beanie Wells is expected to make his preseason debut Thursday when the Cardinals travel to Tennessee to face the Titans, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Wells had surgery on his right knee in January and has since been slowly been progressing toward a comeback. He began training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but was activated Aug. 7 and began practicing with the team. There was an outside chance he would return for Friday's game against the Raiders, but will instead make his 2012 debut next week.
After early reports said Wells was "tentative" in practice, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said Wells has looked better lately.
