Cardinals Vs. Raiders Final Score: Arizona Hangs On For 31-27 Win

The Arizona Cardinals got their first win of t he 2012 preseason, knocking off the Oakland Raiders 31-27 Friday night.

Kevin Kolb started the game for the Cardinals as he continues to battle John Skeleton for the starting job. Kolb played the first four series for Arizona, leading the Cardinals on a touchdown drive, but also yielding a safety. Kolb completed 3-of-6 passes for 22 yards. He started out strong, completing his first three passes of the game. Skeleton made only a brief appearance Friday, playing one full series. He completed all three of his passes for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Ryan Williams made his 2012 preseason debut Friday, rushing for 25 yards and a touchdown on five carries. It was Williams first appearance in a game in almost a full year. Williams tore his patellar tendon last year on August 19.

The win was the Cardinals first of the 2012 preseason, improving their record to 1-2. They will travel to Tennessee to play the Titans in their fourth preseason game next Thursday.
