Todd Graham had an unceremonious departure from the University of Pittsburgh this offseason, when he seemingly reneged on his agreement to stay their head coach in order to take the head coaching position at Arizona State. The move was regarded with skepticism and anger by many at Pitt, who didn't have kind words for him upon his departure.
Regardless of what happened in Pittsburgh, Graham still has a great opportunity to prove that his up-tempo offense can work at a major college football conference. When he was at Tulsa, his teams often were among the top in the nation in total offense and scoring offense. Replicating those figures at Arizona State would help the Sun Devils rebound and compete with the offensive powers of the conference.
Dan Rubenstein of SB Nation Studios caught up with Graham at Pac-12 Media Day.
Graham discusses his move to Arizona State, and goes more into detail about the transitions he's undergone with this team as well as the steps he's made this off-season to improve them as a group.
