Hey, remember Ryan Williams? He might be on his way back to challenging for a running back position with the Arizona Cardinals.
RB Ryan Williams expected to play vs Oakland, Whiz said. Needs to see how Beanie reacts in pads in practice first.

Williams is a year removed from being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, being picked 38th overall. However, before Williams could ever see the field in an actual meaningful game, he ruptured his patella tendon in a preseason game and ended up missing the rest of the season.
Williams was expected to push Wells for one of the starting rotation running back jobs last season. Wells ended up being the starter for most of last season, rushing for a modest 1,047 yards in 14 games. One would have to think that a two-pronged rush attack would be more capable offensively and further open up avenues in the passing game.
