Phil Mickelson had himself quite a nice paycheck at the 2012 PGA Championship. It's far from his best performance ever; he finished at +3 on the tournament and +2 on his final round. But he still finished in a tie for 36th to earn $34,750 from the proceedings.
Among local Arizona golfers, Pat Perez was the top finisher with a tie for 21st, which landed him $72,667. Martin Laird and Jim Furyk tied for 42nd and earned $25,750 on his own. Chez Reavie finished tied for 62nd and earned $15,650. Kevin Stadler, Martin Kaymer, Marty Jertson, Michael Frye, Michael Thompson, and Paul Casey didn't end up making the cut, so they earn no part of the PGA Championship purse and leave the week with no prize money.
A breakdown of the rest of the purse -- without ties -- can be found here.
