2012 Wimbledon Results: Roger Federer, Andy Murray Advance To Men's Finals

It was another epic day of tennis action at the All England Club as the men's semifinal matches got underway this morning during the championships Wimbledon 2012. There was a bit of rain to content with, but nothing the four men left standing couldn't handle as a pair of electric matches went down this Friday.

Roger Federer was eyeing his eighth trip to the finals here, but for the first time in the past few years. Novak Djokovic on the other hand was trying to continue his dominance of the sport as of late, but unforutantely was not on par with Federer as the 30 year old took out the Djoker with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory. Centre court had it's retractable roof closed for the match due to the in climate weather.

With the victory Federer continue his flawless semifinal record, pushing it to 8-0 at Wimbledon. His only loss in the semifinals came in 2008 to Rafael Nadal.

Englishman Andy Murray was the favorite in the other semifinal match, looking to take down Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. That's exactly what he did and in style with a hard-fought 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 win.

Murray is looking to become the first Brit to win the event since 1936.
