Team USA hoops saw things bet a bit chippy with Argentina on Sunday afternoon, but their talent outweighed the opposition's scrappiness as they went on to win by a score of 86-80. The game was the first of three European warmups for Team USA before the 2012 Olympics begin in London, and the team did show signs of improvement from previous weeks.

They were led by Kevin Durant, who scored 27 points as the sixth man off the bench. LeBron James added 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Kobe Bryant scored 18 and brought down four boards.

Andre Iguodala, a former standout with the Arizona Wildcats, had just one point, two assists and two rebounds on the day, but he continued to play excellent defense off the bench for Team USA. James Harden, who hails from Arizona State, did not play for the first time.

It wasn't a pretty game for Team USA, but it's imperative they continue to gain toughness and chemistry on the court. Argentina will be in competition for a medal in London, and there was plenty to take away from the game this afternoon for Coach K and the coaching staff.
