2012 British Open: TV Coverage, Streaming, Live Updates And More

As we head for the second round of the 2012 Open Championship, we find our hero Phil Mickelson once again stumbling out of the gate in Britain's major. Mickelson is at +3 and is in a very dangerous position of entirely missing the cut as he stands way behind other guys. Martin Laird and Jim Furyk are only doing slightly better, as most of the Arizona golfers are in danger of totally missing the cut altogether.

Here's how to keep up with the 2012 British Open this year.

TV Coverage: Coverage by ESPN starts late at night at 1:30 a.m. PT, wrapping up around noon.

Online Coverage: If you're in the mood for some cheeky British analysis, BBC.com will have a lot of coverage throughout the day via online streaming. If you want to stick to the ESPN broadcast, ESPN3 should be available on a multitude of devices, which should also have an available replay if you have no DVR on your TV.

Live updates: If you're away from home and have to watch the Open as it unfolds, it might be best for you to download the official 2012 Open Championship app to install on your iPhone, iPad or Android device to get all the latest updates. If you just want updates from your computer but no stream, the Open Championship scoreboard provides all the latest scoring updates you'll need on the situation.
