The Open Championship 2012: Phil Mickelson Aims For First British Open Title

Can Phil Mickelson win his first British Open title at Royal Lytham in the 2012 Open Championship?

Phil Mickelson finally came close to winning the British Open last season. It was only his second top-ten finish in the tournament in 18 tries, but he did finish in a tie for second. Mickelson's putting doomed him last year on the back nine after holding the lead. He'll now look to capture the championship that has given him the most difficulty to win every season.

The British Open will be broadcast on ESPN exclusively (and a tape-delay of the final round on ABC). Here's the info on live coverage below:
