Belmont Stakes 2012: Post Positions, TV Schedule, Live Coverage And More

There will be significantly less people setting aside their Saturday to watch the Belmont Stakes in the wake of I'll Have Another being scratched due to an injury. This, of course, is much to the chagrin of NBC, who will not have droves of people tuning in to potentially see the first Triple Crown Winner in over 30 years.

Regardless, the Belmont Stakes will still likely be a thrilling race and the field is now wide open. Dullahan is the new betting favorite and Union Rags, who was one of the favorites at the Kentucky Derby, will attempt to redeem himself after a poor showing at Churchill Downs.

The 2012 Belmont Stakes will be televised on NBC and coverage will begin at 2:00 p.m. PT. Post time for the main event is 6:30 p.m. PT.

A live stream of the Belmont Stakes can be found at NBCSports.com.
