Just one match separates two ladies from the 2012 French Open Championship at beautiful Rolland Garros. Maria Sharapova, the world's No. 2 ranked player, has cruised to the finals and made quick work of Petra Kvitova in the semifinals. Sera Errani, ranked 21st, has battled her way through the the tournament and is as hot as any player in tennis right now.
Most feel that Sharapova is playing the best tennis of her career right now and has seldom been challenged at the French Open, but every player has a bad day. Errani has the talent and endurance to pull the upset if a few bounces go her way.
NBC will have the live telecast of the match for you on Saturday morning. It is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. MST, which is 9 a.m. for you folks on the east coast. Both pre-match and post-match analysis will be provided as well, hopefully from a fired up John McEnroe.
