NBA Playoff Schedule And Update: Thunder Shocked

The San Antonio Spurs jumped out to a healthy lead in the first quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Those of us that picked the Spurs to roll through this series were nodding confidently. We expected the Spurs to get their act together and put down the upstarts.

Obviously, that didn't happen. The Thunder showed remarkable improvement in this series and won the chance to advance to the NBA Finals more than the Spurs lost it. It was a fun game and a fun series and we can't and won't complain about a surprise result.

Game 6 Eastern Conference Finals: Miami Heat at Boston Celtics at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT

The Celtics are in the same position the Thunder were but they are facing a Heat team without the championship experience and mental toughness of the Spurs. We seem to be headed for a Thunder vs. Celtics match up in the NBA Finals.

Here's the remaining schedule for the 2012 NBA Playoff Eastern Conference Finals Series (all times in ET):

Game 7: Saturday, June 9 at Miami, 8:30 p.m.*
