Wimbledon Results: Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer Advance On Friday

The two favorites remaining on the men's side of Wimbledon, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, were tested early in their matches on Friday, but the two stars rallied late to keep their championship hopes alive.

Federer played the match of the day against Julien Benneteau. Federer lost the first two sets, but managed to tie it up at 2-2 following a wild fourth set that went to tiebreaker. Federer, who had all of the momentum at that point, proceeded to win the fifth and final set 6-1.

Djokovic played against Radek Stepanek in his match. Stepanek pulled off the first set by winning 6-4, but Djokovic came back strong and won the next three sets, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.

On the ladies side of things, Maria Sharapova continued to dominate the competition by winning in two sets. Agnieszka Radwanska, the world's No. 3 player, also won her match in two sets.
