If you've heard the knock on NASCAR racing being that it's just a bunch of left turns, you might want to tune in on Sunday for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma. The 110-lap race features 12 turns in each 1.95-mile lap. It's a unique course and should make for a unique race.
The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is definitely beginning to heat up as the Chase for the Cup draws closer. New overall points leader Matt Kenseth will try to hold the field at bay and has a good starting position to attempt to do so. Kenseth will be No. 9 in the starting lineup, while Marcos Ambrose holds the pole position when the green flag waves on Sunday.
The green flag for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 will wave at 12:19 p.m. PT. Sunday's event will be the third of six races to be televised on TNT this year. There IS live streaming of the race today, which can be found at NASCAR.com's "RaceBuddy" site. If you'll be away from your computer and TV, check the Performance Racing Network's web site for a list of affiliate radio stations in your area.
