The UFC's double-dipper weekend concludes with a bang on Saturday, as Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin go to war in a 190-pound catchweight rematch for the main event of UFC 147. Franklin and Silva fought once before at UFC 99, with the American ultimately taking the judges' decision. Though the electrifying brawl must still be fresh in the minds of Las Vegas oddsmakers, as Franklin is already listed as a slight favorite over the fan-favorite Brazilian despite accepting the fight on extremely short notice.
The remainder of the card is richly populated by the cast of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, the UFC's first international edition of their long-running reality series. However the co-main event should be a barnburner, as top-10 heavyweight Fabricio Werdum battles red-hot Mike Russow. The 35-year-old Russow heads into the contest a massive 4-to-1 underdog, though he has proven to be a tough nut to crack thus far in his UFC career, racking up a perfect 4-0 UFC record.
