U.S. Open Golf Leaderboard 2012: Phil Mickelson Continues To Struggle Through Front 9

Arizona State University grad Phil Mickelson is through the front nine in Round 4 of the 2012 U.S. Open, and he didn't have much more luck than he had in the previous three rounds. Mickelson bogeyed hole number two, as he had in Round 3, and picked up another bogey on hole four, which he had been able to birdie in Round 3. Another pair of birdies on holes six and eight left him 4-over-par through the front nine. Mickelson has struggled all weekend, and it looks like Sunday won't end any different.

Fellow ASU grad Jesse Mueller posted his best round of the week on Sunday, shooting a 71 in Round 4. That leaves him at 13-over for the tournament. Both K.J. Choi and Francesco Molinari are having strong days, though neither are a threat to the overall lead. Choi is 2-under through eight and Moinari 2-under through 11. The leaders have yet to tee off, so the leaderboard still has a lot of action still coming.
