2012 U.S. Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Fades, Lee Westwood Surges

In the third round of the 2012 U.S. Open on Saturday, Jim Furyk currently stands alone atop the leaderboard at 1-under through 14 holes. Graeme McDowell is close behind at even par after being 1-under through 15 holes, while Fredrik Jacobson and Nicolas Colsaerts are tied for third at 1-over.

Tiger Woods, who came into the day as the leader, along with Furyk and David Toms, has gone 3-over through 14 holes and sits in a tie for fifth place at 2-over, along with Ernie Els and Lee Westwood. Toms, meanwhile, has dropped like a stone after having shot 6-over through his first 15 holes in his third round.

The difficult course at the Olympic Club is getting no easier to tame as Sunday's final round draws closer.
