U.S. Open Golf Leaderboard 2012: Tiger Woods, Four Others Tied For First As Round 3 Develops

Round 3 of the 2012 U.S. Open began with a three way tie at the top of the leaderboard, but thanks to the difficulty of the course at the Olympic, there are now five men tied for first. Frederik Jacobson, Graeme McDowell, Nicolas Colsaerts, Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk all sit in first place at 1-over.

David Toms, who began the day as part of the three way tie, has struggled significantly and is 5-over through six holes, including a double bogey on hole six. Arizona State University grad Phil Mickelson finished up earlier in the day, shooting only 1-over for the day but 8-over for the tournament. Lee Westwood, Webb Simpson and Kevin Chapell have both had strong days and sit just outside the lead at 3-over. In fact, there are 26 men within four strokes of the lead, meaning that as Round 3 continues it's still anyone's tournament.
