U.S. Open Golf 2012: TV Schedule, Live Updates, Streaming And More

The third round of the 2012 U.S. Open begins on Saturday. Phil Mickelson will begin the day in quite a deep hole. He was 1-over on the fantastically difficult course on Friday, bringing his total score to 7-over in the Grand Slam event. While Mickelson would need to pull off a borderline-historic comeback in order to climb back into the tournament, he is not entirely out of the running for the title as of yet. He has plenty of work to do in order to catch up to the leaders at 1-under, including three-time U.S. Open winner Tiger Woods.

NBC will broadcast six hours of round-three coverage Saturday, beginning at 12:00 p.m. PT with "Live from the U.S. Open," a pregame show sure to be full of in-depth analysis. Live third-round coverage will begin at 1:00 p.m. PT.

In addition to the television broadcast, fans will also be able to watch some of the action online via a stream at USOpen.com. A live stream of the eighth and 18th holes will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. PT.

Radio coverage will begin at 4 p.m. ET and is available online and on select smartphones. Fans can also find the full 2012 U.S. Open leaderboard and follow live scoring at USOpen.com.
