NCAA Baseball Rankings: Arizona Wildcats No. 11 In Latest Coaches' Poll

The Arizona Wildcats moved up two spots and are ranked No. 11 in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches' poll. Arizona (38-17, 20-10 Pac-12) earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA baseball tournament and will host the Tucson Regional. New Mexico State (35-22), No 25 Louisville (39-20) and Missouri (32-26) are the other three teams competing in the Tucson Regional.

The Wildcats finished their season winning eight of their final ten games, with series wins against California, USC and Arizona State. Arizona faces Missouri in their first game of the Tucson Regional on Friday June, 1st at 4:00 p.m. MST.

Arizona has benefitted from the superb play from the league batting champion Johnny Field and starting pitcher Kurt Heyer. In the league's final week, Field earned Pac-12 player of the week, while Field was awarded pitcher of the week. Field ended the regular season with a .379 batting average, while Field has posted a 2.03 ERA and an 11-2 record.
