Diamondbacks Prospects: Arizona Pitching Prospects Show Promise In Recent Starts

Via Arizona Sports comes a a look at some of the Arizona Diamondbacks minor league' pitching prospects, including top prospect Trevor Bauer. Bauer was promoted to Triple-A Reno earlier this month.

Trevor Bauer had another strong outing in Triple-A, pitching five innings and giving up just one run.

He managed five strikeouts and gave up just one hit in his second outing for the Aces. Bauer threw just 89 pitches, after 113 in his first outing.

The Aces, however, went on to lose the game, 4-2, which gave Bauer the no-decision.

Tyler Skaggs, a left-hander in Double-A Mobile, has posted a 2-3 record with a 3.12 ERA. He pitched five shutout innings for Mobile on Monday, getting his second win of the season.

Archie Bradley, a right-hander with Single-A South Bend, is 6-1 with a 3.06 ERA. He gave up three runs on four hits over five innings in his most recent start, a no decision.
