NBA Playoffs Results And Schedule: Both Los Angeles Teams In Action On Saturday

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers finally managed to pick up a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder thanks to some absurdly good free-throw shooting and -- as per usual -- some fortunate calls going their way. In Game 3, the Lakers took a late lead and hung on for the 99-96 victory. The Thunder now hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal.

Earlier in the day, the Philadelphia 76ers proved once again that they will not go quietly, as they held their own on their home court to best the Boston Celtics in Game 4 and once again knot the Eastern Conference semifinal, 2-2. The 76ers pulled away and wound up with a 92-83 victory as this series has quietly become the closest and most entertaining of all the semifinals.

On Saturday, both halves of the Western Conference semifinals will be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In the early game, the Los Angeles Clippers attempt to win a game against the San Antonio Spurs, who currently lead the series 2-0. Game 3 will tip off at 12:30 p.m. PT and will air on ABC.

In the nightcap, the Los Angeles Lakers will host Game 4 against the Thunder and will try to even things up on home court. That game will begin at 7:30 p.m. PT and will be televised on TNT.
