The Arizona State Sun Devils rose to No. 16 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll on Monday. ASU (32-17, 12-9 Pac-12) is on a six-game winning streak after completing a three-game weekend sweep against Gonzaga, the Sun Devils also swept Utah in three games two weekends ago.
This week ASU hosts Arizona (33-15, 16-8) for one game on Wednesday and then play a three-game weekend home series against Washington (26-21, 11-13). ASU is tied for fourth in the Pac-12 standings with Stanford (32-14, 14-10) and is only two games back from second place Arizona (33-15, 16-8).
After this week's four conference games, the Sun Devils end the season with a critical three-game series against Arizona — a series that will have standings implications if ASU takes care of business this week.
