The Players Championship 2012, Leaderboard Update: Rickie Fowler Surging, Phil Mickelson Cruising

The cut has been made at the 2012 Players Championship and just two rounds separate a great field from taking home a purse of $9.5 million dollars. While those at the top of the leaderboard entering Saturday are still preparing to tee off, many in contention of the leaders are making moves up and down the boards through the third round.

Rickie Fowler has been the biggest mover thus far on Saturday, shooting a -4 through nine holes. He sits in a tie for fourth place now, seven-under par for the entire tournament. Phil Mickelson bogeyed two of his first five holes, but three birdies have moved him to one-under par for the third round. The former ASU Sun Devil is now at -3 overall. Despite a late rally on Friday to make the cut, Tiger Woods has struggled for most of the third round and is +1 for the day through 11 holes.

Your current leaders? Matt Kuchar, Kevin Na, Zach Johnson and Jonathan Byrd are all tied at -8 for the event.
