The Players Championship 2012: TV Times, Tee Times, Pairings, Radio Coverage For Thursday

Phil Mickelson has had a solid start to his 2012 campaign, but would love to put some that crystal trophy from the Players Championship on his mantle this season.

But he'll have an uphill battle with the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and the rest of the best golfers in the world in the field as well, taking on Pete Dye's famed TPC Sawgrass, complete with the biggest risk-reward ending in all of golf in the reachable but dangerous par-5 16th, the always entertaining island green par-3 17th, and the half hole/half lake 18th finish.

Mickelson will tee off this afternoon at 1:49 p.m. ET along with Rory McIlroy and Steve Stricker.

Television coverage of the first round begins at 1 p.m. ET , and can be found on the Golf Channel with radio coverage kicking off at noon on Sirius XM.
