Make that two in a row for Phoenix's Mikkel Boedker. On Thursday night at the United Center in Chicago, Boedker scored the game-winning goal for the Phoenix Coyotes in overtime against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Boedker got past the Blackhawks' defender Nick Leddy and scored the goal after getting the puck under Blackhawks' goalieCorey Crawford and into the goal at the 2:15 mark in overtime.
Boedker scored the game-winning goal for the Coyotes on Tuesday night with 13:15 left in the overtime period.
In game four of the Western Conference quarterfinals series, the game went into overtime for the fourth straight match. Thanks to Boedker's goal, Phoenix leads the series 3-1 and is one victory away from its first playoff series win since 1987. Game five returns to Phoenix for a Saturday night matchup at 7pm PT.
Boedker's goal was impressive in many ways, as the Coyotes' right wing was at full speed and was still able to have full control of the puck.
