NFL Mock Draft 2012: Bengals Add Depth On Interior Offensive Line

With the 21st pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select... David DeCastro, OG, Stanford.

David DeCastro is the best interior offensive lineman in this draft and fits a major need for the Bengals. DeCastro started every single game for the Cardinal the past three seasons, and was a two-time all-conference selection. In 2011, DeCastro was a finalist for the Outland Trophy.

The Bengals have done a nice job building an offense over the last two seasons. A.J. Green and Andy Dalton are a great duo and our own Cody Ulm has the Bengals taking Michael Floyd with pick No. 17. The Bengals improved their running game with the addition of the law-firm, BenJarvus Green-Ellis this past offseason.

The Bengals need to improve their offensive line, and if DeCastro falls to them here at No. 21 they will be thrilled. DeCastro is a great run blocker and is a very smart football player.

Although knowing the Bengals history, they might have a hard time taking a high character, strong work ethic guy like DeCastro.

The Cleveland Browns are next on the clock and Cody Ulm has their selection.
