Grant Hill Cleared To Play For Suns Friday Vs. Rockets

Grant Hill of the Phoenix Suns suffered an injury that required recent knee surgery, keeping him out of action. There were reports that Hill might be ready sooner than expected and could play as soon as next Monday against Portland.

Accelerate that timetable just a little. Hill could be playing as soon as Friday against the Houston Rockets.

Hill hasn't played in over two weeks, but the Suns haven't missed too much a beat. After dropping two games to the Spurs and Clippers, Phoenix adjusted and won five of their last six, including pummeling teams like the Lakers and Timberwolves while edging out the Jazz. Hill could still be useful for Phoenix--his numbers are down across the board, but the Suns forward is averaging 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
