Todd McShay NFL Mock Draft 2012: Arizona Cardinals Pick Melvin Ingram

More: Should Cordy Glenn be the Cardinals Pick?

The Arizona Cardinals have plenty of designated needs this year, but nothing is probably as important as an offensive lineman. They have other needs too though, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the Cardinals look elsewhere if they don't have the guy they want to pick to fill in their line.

That being said, it wouldn't be the biggest surprise if the Cardinals just decide to pick the guy they feel will best fit their team at the position they have in the draft. Todd McShay released his latest mock draft (an ESPN insider account is required) ($), and he goes a little bit unconventional here, picking a pass rusher in Melvin Ingram.

The Cardinals have bigger needs at offensive tackle and wide receiver, but coach Ken Whisenhunt learned the value of playmaking linebackers during his days in Pittsburgh. Ingram is strong and explosive and shows a knack for making big plays, and he would give Arizona needed depth along the front seven.
