Daytona 500 2012 Highlights: Matt Kenseth Wins One Fiery Mess

The Daytona 500 took about a day and a half to complete. It was such a messy, messy thing, but someone had to win.

The first few minutes started with crash. CRASH! So much crash. Jimmie Johnson and Danica Patrick both got knocked out on that first flare up. You can see the video by clicking here.

Then Ryan Newman lost a tire and got hit from behind by A.J. Allmendinger. Then Jeff Gordon's engine disintegrated. Then Clint Boyer got stranded. Then FIRE, FIRE, FIRE! Not to mention, FIRE. Did we say something about fire? Thank you a lot for that Juan Pablo Montoya.

After all that, what about another crash between Casey Mears and Marcos Ambrose? Don't forget Jamie McMurray got spun out, and Tony Stewart got all wrecked up.

Finally, Matt Kenseth was the last one standing with his urine-stained car. Talk about greatness. If only all Daytona 500s were like this.
