Accenture Match Play Championship, Round One Update: Tiger Woods One Down Through 12, Adam Scott Upset Early

Things are already starting to shake down during round one of the Accenture Match Play Championship at the Dove Mountain at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Marana, AZ as top ranked golfers have fallen already, while others fight to stay alive, like former No. 1 in the world Tiger Woods.

Woods is currently one down with six to play to Spain's Gonzalo Fdez-Castano in the Sam Snead bracket, while Adam Scott has already lost his match to Englishman Robert Rock, coming into the event as the No. 2 seed in the Bobby jones bracket.

Other notable matches already complete are Dustin Johnson's victory over Jim Furyk in the Jones bracket, a match that needed 20 holes to decide a winner, Steve Stricker took out Kevin Na over in the Ben Hogan bracket 2 and 1, Nick Watney beat Darren Clarke 5 and 4 in the Snead bracket, while Italian Matteo Manassero upset Webb Simpson in the Snead bracket as well.
