Oregon and Kansas State are both expecting their fan bases to travel well to the 2013 Fiesta Bowl.

With the 2013 Fiesta Bowl just a few days away, the Ducks and Wildcats have arrived in Glendale. While the teams are already in Arizona, both schools are expecting plenty of fans to join them, according to the Kansas City Star.

Both Oregon and Kansas State have reputations for traveling well, and that doesn't figure to change for the Fiesta Bowl. Kansas State needed more than its allotted 17,500 tickets, while Duck fans are also buying tickets en masse. Oregon fans are experienced when it comes to traveling to BCS bowl games, as this year's Fiesta Bowl is the Ducks' fourth straight BCS appearance. Oregon senior athletic director Craig Pintens said Duck fans are savvy when it comes to buying tickets, and the school is expecting its fans to show up in big numbers.

While KSU may not have the BCS experience, its fans also know how to travel. Wildcat fans showed up in huge quantities to last year's Cotton Bowl, with more than 15,000 attending a rally the day before the game. A number of charter flights and bowl packages have already been sold for KSU, with Wildcat alumni association president Amy Button saying the KSU fans want to "paint Phoenix purple."
