The hot team came out on top on Friday night as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Phoenix Suns by a score of 97-91 on Friday night in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Suns have now dropped four in a row while the Pacers have won four consecutive. The Suns are now fourth in the Western Conference's Pacific Division with an 11-19 record and the Suns are sitting atop the Eastern Conference's Central Division with a 16-12 record.
The Suns were led by a 19-point performance from Sebastian Telfair. Marcin Gortat added 15 and both Luis Scola and Shannon Brown chipped in 12. Michael Beasley also came off the bench to add 10. The Pacers were led by George Hill, who scored 22 points. Paul George added 15, David West chipped in 14 and Tyler Hansbrough came in off the bench to score 12.
The Suns have been abysmal on the road having lost seven in a row when traveling and are 2-12 on the road overall. Meanwhile, the Pacers have been good at home, with a 9-3 record in Indianapolis to prove it.
The Suns will try to turn their bad fortune around on the road and break their current losing streak when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Target Center on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. The Pacers will try to keep things rolling on Saturday when they travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks in Philips Arena.
