As the Arizona Cardinals prepared for their season finale against the San Francisco 49ers Wednesday, they did so without a handful of players on both sides of the ball.
Wide receivers Early Doucet (concussion) and LaRon Byrd (knee) both did not practice.
Also sitting out were a pair of offensive linemen: interior lineman Mike Gibson (calf) and tackle Nate Potter (ankle).
Fullback Anthony Sherman (knee) also did not participate.
A total of four defensive backs were listed, including safety Adrian Wilson, who sat out completely with an illness. Safety Rashad Johnson (hamstring) and safety James Sanders (calf) were limited participants. Cornerback Greg Toler (hamstring) was a full participant.
Defensive end Ronald Talley (ankle) and defensive tackle Dan Williams (hamstring) were also limited participants.
The Cardinals (5-10, 4th place in the NFC West) are hoping to finish the season on a high note with an upset of the 49ers on Sunday at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.
