Thanks to a big weekend win over the No. 5 Florida Gators by the count of 65-64, the Arizona Wildcats have jumped up to No. 4 in the latest AP rankings released today. The Wildcats are now the power of the Pac-12 Conference after their signature win of the season so far.
But not everyone got glowing reviews for their performance in the game. The guys at Arizona Desert Swarm were still in a generous mood though in handing out their grades for the Wildcats win over the Gators.
Solomon Hill had arguably the most solid day of all the players on the Arizona roster and Desert Swarm didn't hold back in their effusive praise of the senior forward who earned an 'A' grade:
Every time we needed him, it felt like he was there. Hill finished with a game high 18 points on 5-9 shooting, and an impressive 6-6 from the line.
Mark Lyons also earned an 'A' grade from Desert Swarm even though they readily admit he should've earned a lower grade, but his game winning shot with seven seconds bumped him up a full grade point. The No. 4 Wildcats take on the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles tomorrow at the McKale Center.
