Dear basketball world, please turn your attention to the New York Knicks (well, more of your attention).
In addition to be 14-5, which is the best mark in the Eastern Conference, and being in the media hotbed that is New York, the Knicks will be the center of the NBA universe for another reason this week -- they play two awesome games. On Tuesday, New York will head across the bridge to take on the Brooklyn Nets in what everyone wants to be the NBA's next big rivalry and then on Thursday they will welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to Madison Square Garden. Make sure you set your DVR, twice.
Outside of New York, the Los Angeles Clippers and Chicago Bulls square off in a tasty match-up and the Miami Heat will try to pretend they care when they host the Atlanta Hawks. Locally, the Phoenix Suns will host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
