The past two days in the NBA have brought us 14 games, including 12 on Friday night. Let's take a look at a few of the more notable games across the Association.
On Thursday night, the Heat defeated the Spurs 105-100. The outcome of this one wasn't the story, but rather that the league fined San Antonio $250,000 for resting Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and others. The Spurs are in the midst of a long road trip, and coach Gregg Popovich felt it was in his team's best interest to rest a few of the veterans.
On Friday, the Suns continued to struggle on the road as they fell to the Raptors, 101-97. The Lakers pummeled the Nuggets, dropping 17 three-pointers on their way to a 122-103 win. In what was surprisingly a great game, the Cavaliers pulled off a huge rally in the fourth quarter to pick up the 113-111 road victory over the Hawks.
There are 10 games on the schedule for Saturday.
