Arizona vs. Texas Tech: TV schedule, start time and more

Previewing Arizona's first road test of the season in Lubbock.

Casey Sapio-US PRESSWIRE

The No. 9 Arizona Wildcats face their first true challenge of the season as they hit the road to take on Texas Tech this Saturday evening. The 'Cats have made quick work of their first four foes this season, averaging 85 points a game while shooting 51 percent from the field.

The Red Raiders are also undefeated, although their D-I opponents' combined record is 4-14. They are led by 6'7 forward Jaye Crockett, who averages 16 points and nine rebounds. Junior big man Dejan Kravic will challenge UA's talented frontline. Freshman guard Josh Gray is off to a solid start in his collegiate career, averaging 12 points and a little more than three rebounds and assists a night.

Arizona should win this game, although they could struggle early with it being their first road test of the season. Look for their size and depth to wear down Texas Tech before eventually pulling away midway through the second half. Final score prediction: Arizona 82 - Texas Tech 70

Start Time: 8 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. MT

TV Schedule: ESPNU

Odds: Arizona opened as a 12-point favorite, according to Odds Shark.
