The Surprise Saguaros had the best showing of Tuesday in the Arizona Fall League, as they shut out the Mesa Solar Sox, 7-0. Cardinals prospect Kevin Siegrist got the win by throwing three scoreless innings and striking out four. The Rangers' Chris McGuiness suppled the offense, hitting a three-run homer in the fourth inning.
Peoria added on to its league-best win total by taking its 15th over Phoenix, 13-6. Mariners prospect Nick Franklin had a huge day for the Javelinas, driving home six runs and tallying four hits. Christian Yelich of the Marlins led the Desert Dogs with a double and three runs driven in.
The Salt Rivers Rafters took down the Scottsdale Scorpions in high-scoring, 14-12, affair. The Yankees' David Adams slammed two home runs and drove in three for the Scorpions. Rockies prospect Lars Davis starred for the Rafters, notching four hits with a home run and four RBI.
All teams will be in action again on Wednesday. Mesa visits Scottsdale, Peoria travels to Phoenix, and Salt River heads to Surprise.
