Suns vs. Bobcats preview: Phoenix looks to end 2-game east coast skid against Charlotte

The Suns will face Michael Jordan's Bobcats in Charlotte on Wednesday, hoping to rebound to two blowouts against the Magic and Heat.

Mark Dolejs-US PRESSWIRE

The Suns (1-3), losers of their past two games (both on the road) will look to rebound on Wednesday as they travel to Charlotte to take on the Bobcats (1-1). The Bobcats are hosts to the worst win percentage in NBA history, going 7-59 for a .106 win percentage in a lockout shortened season. Now, with a retooled team featuring the second pick, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist from the 2012 NBA Draft, Charlotte is looking to hand Phoenix their third loss on the season, pushing them to a 1-4 start.

Here are your projected lineups:

Suns

G Goran Dragic

G Jared Dudley

F Michael Beasley

F Luis Scola

C Marcin Gortat

Bobcats

G Kemba Walker

G Gametime Decision (normal starter Gerald Henderson will not play due to injury)

F Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

F Byron Mullens

C Brendan Haywood

The Bobcats also feature a couple of weapons off the bench looking to revitalize their careers in Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas. Bismack Biyombo and DeSagana Diop are both former lottery picks that figure to see plenty of time on the court as well.

Tip-off is at 7:00 PM EST/5:00 MST and can be seen on Fox Sports Arizona in the Phoenix Metro area.

After this, the Suns will head back home to the friendly confines of U.S. Airways Center to take on Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
