A one-yard touchdown run to the outside by LaRod Stephens-Howling got the Arizona Cardinals on the board, but Aaron Rodgers' three touchdown passes have the Green Bay Packers leading the Cardinals, 21-7, at halftime of their Sunday afternoon meeting at Lambeau Field.
To cap a quick, three-play, 43-yard drive, Stephens-Howling evaded tacklers and turned the corner at the last moment to score the Cardinals' first touchdown of the day. Stephens-Howling ended the first half with the one score and nearly 50 yards of offense.
The Packers responded, running a methodical 12-play, 80-yard drive that was capped by quarterback Aaron Rodgers' second touchdown strike to Cobb from 21 yards out midway through the second quarter.
With the second quarter coming to a close, Rodgers connected with receiver James Jones on the first play after the two minute warning to give the Packers the two-touchdown lead as they headed into the locker room. The 28-yard pass gave Rodgers three touchdown passes on the day.
The Cardinals were driving at the end of the second quarter, but a sack of John Skelton put a halt to the momentum.
