After a 4-0 start to the season, the Arizona Cardinals have struggled in recent weeks, losing four straight games. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has seen his touches decrease during that stretch, but he isn't letting that affect his attitude, via Arizona Sports.com:
"I know what I am and who I am. That's not going to change based on week-to-week numbers wise. My focus is more on getting it going as a whole."
In Weeks 3, 4 and 5, Fitzgerald totaled 25 catches for 270 yards and two touchdowns. In the three games since then, he has 15 catches for 174 yards and one score. Despite seeing his numbers dwindle, Fitzgerald knows that every season has ups and downs, and that his numbers will even out:
"I'll get my plays. I know it's a long season. You have 16 games and 17 weeks of ball. I'll make some shots. There haven't been many thus far, but it's going to happen."
Things don't get any easier for the Cardinals (4-4) this week, as they travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers (5-3). Green Bay has won three in a row, and the Packers offense is averaging 32.0 points per game during that span. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. MT, and the game will be televised by FOX.
