There are some big games scheduled in Week 5 of the NFL season. With teams starting to emerge in their respective divisions, the stakes will only get higher on Sundays. Since the hometown Cardinals played on Thursday night, the state of Arizona will have a full slate of games on CBS and FOX.
FOX Early Game: Starting at 10 a.m. PT, the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers will meet in an AFC-NFC showdown. Both teams feature veteran quarterbacks in Michael Vick and Ben Roethlisberger, although their defenses have struggled a bit this season. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call the action from the booth.
CBS Early Game: Eli Manning and the Giants take on Trent Richardson and the Browns at 10 a.m. PT this weekend. New York is heavily favored in this one and should put up some points at home. Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf are your announcers in this one.
CBS Late Game: The state of Arizona will have split coverage at 1 p.m. For those in Phoenix, Flagstaff and the surrounding areas, you will see the 49ers welcome in the Bills. Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots are the announcers. For those in Tucson and the rest of southern Arizona, you will see Peyton Manning and the Broncos battle Tom Brady and the Patriots. This game will have Jim Nantz and Phil Simms in the booth.
Sunday Night Football: The Chargers and Saints meet in primetime for what should be a game with tons of scoring. It'll be Al Michaels calling the action with Cris Collinsworth serving as the analyst. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. PT.
