Phoenix Suns training camp preview: Kendall Marshall

Suns rookie Kendall Marshall spends a few minutes with SB Nation Arizona for an insightful interview at Suns training camp in La Jolla, CA.

As the Phoenix Suns continue their training camp in La Jolla, Calif., SB Nation Arizona is on location to get some up close and personal interviews with some of the players and coaches, such as rookie Kendall Marshall.

Marshall had a number of things to discuss during this video, including what the transition has been like this summer to playing professional basketball mostly with his fellow teammates. He was also asked about the differences from here and his college days at North Carolina.

He continually preaches the necessity to get better every day, and working on shaping his skills to make him the most productive player he can be for Phoenix.

Marhsall averaged 7.2 points in 28 minutes a game during his tenure as a Tar Heel, adding eight assists and 2.3 rebounds in 73 career games at North Carolina. He and the Suns will play their first preseason game on Oct. 10 against the Sacramento Kings.
