Pac-12 Football Standings 2012: Oregon, USC sit atop divisions

Breaking down the Pac-12 standings after another busy week of college football action.

The road to the Pac-12 championship game is starting to take shape in both the North and South Divisions.

In the South Division, the USC Trojans (6-2, 4-2) hold a slim half-game lead over UCLA and Arizona State. The Trojans lost on Saturday to Arizona and face their toughest challenge of the season next weekend against Oregon. The Wildcats are 2-3 against conference foes and are in fourth place. Utah and Colorado are tied for last with 1-4 records.

The Oregon Ducks sit atop the North with a perfect 5-0 mark. The Oregon St. Beavers, who lost to Washington on Saturday to end their undefeated season, sit one game back at 4-1. Stanford is also tied for second place at 4-1. The Washington Huskies are in fourth place with a 2-3 record, one half game ahead of California. The Washington St. Cougars remain winless at 0-5.
