The Arizona State defense was already facing a huge challenge attempting to stop the high-powered Oregon Ducks offense, and now the Sun Devils are playing without two of their best defensive players. Defensive end Junior Onyeali left the game during the first quarter with an apparent arm injury while defensive tackle Will Sutton is out after suffering a knee injury.

Sutton and Onyeali are the top two defensive linemen on ASU's tackles for loss list.

While the extent of Onyeali's injury is unknown, he was being tended to by trainers on the sidelines. It appeared they were attempting to stabilize his arm, which could be a sign of a serious injury. According to sideline reports, Onyeali hurt his shoulder. Despite the injury, he may return to the game with a wrap on his arm.

Sutton is out for the rest of the game after suffering a knee injury. He went back to the locker room and is now using crutches on the sidelines. With Sutton out and Onyeali currently on the sidelines, the Arizona State defensive line has two major holes as the Sun Devils try to stop the Ducks' prolific rushing attack.
